Q: Can Voyager record time events remotely?

A: Yes. Voyager can record Speed/Time and also individual counting events such as the number of times an object passes by.

Q: Can I set the log rates for Voyager?

A: Yes. Voyager can have it's log rate changed from 10 ms to 99 minutes.

Q: Does Voyager take power from the USB port of my computer and if so do I need to fit batteries?

A: Yes. Voyager can be powered from the USB port of a computer and will function without batteries in this way although not recommended as you wont be able to use Voyager remotely ie. not connected to the computer.

Q: Can I use my Voyager with Bluetooth?

A: Yes if using Voyager Air. This model has long range Bluetooth built in and can be activated via the menu on Voyager.

Q: I wish to use Voyager as a hand held meter but the display automatically turns off after a while - can I keep it on?

A: Yes. Keep the meter display on by pressing and holding the green button for more than 4 seconds when switching on.

Q: I have fitted batteries but nothing happens on the display when I press the Voyager buttons?

A: Remove and check that all batteries are fitted correctly as shown on the battery holders. They must all be new Alkaline batteries - others will not work properly and must not be used.

Q: Can I use Vista/Windows 7 with my copy of LogIT Lab/SensorLab for Voyager?

A: Yes. The latest version of LogIT Lab and SensorLab are compatible with Windows Vista.

Q: Can I use Voyager with my MAC computer?

A: Yes if you are running OSX then DataSweet Datalogging supplied with Voyager can be used on PPC and Intel MAC computers. SensorLab will work on OSX Mac's as well.

Q: Can I use Voyager with my LINUX computer?

A: SensorLab will run on most Linux computers. To check compatibility, download SensorLab from here and try it on your Linux computer.
