Link to logger is broken

The Software says ‘Link to logger broken’? 

LogIT World Support solution: This can happen when a PC/MAC goes to sleep if logging for an extended period.  Usually it occurs on Laptops when trying to conserve battery power.  The USB connections are lost and when the computer wakes up the broken link message appears.  It can also occur on older versions of SensorLab if a particular combination of computer and OS are being used.  The solution in the first instance is to prevent the PC/MAC from sleeping if logging for an extended period and the second problem is cured by installing the latest version of SensorLab.
